We have updated our article with information and guidance about lupus and COVID-19 vaccination.

•Approval and rollout of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine

•Increased dosing interval – now 12 weeks between doses

•JCVI guidance for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding

Paul you will see that the information states:

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before you are given the vaccine if you have a weakened immune system, such as due to HIV infection, or are on a medicine that affects your immune system.

A person may decide to have the vaccine but with a suppressed immune system, it may not produce any antibodies and may not have any effect against covid.

I think I have misinterpreted some of the information and am happy to delete the comment as I do not want to mislead or confuse anyone. You can delete the thread and repost your original message.
