I have just been reading an article on eye blood clots in America. In 1994, I had a blood clot in my eye at the time I lost total vision in it. I wonder if anyone else who has had loss of vision due to a blood clot in eye has actually had an ischemic stroke & should be treated as a normal brain stroke to prevent a more serious stroke, I now think that Hydroxichloriquinetablets could exacerbated the damage that I already had. I wounder how many other lupus patients with eye blood clots have also been ignored and not treated correctly.

Eye blood clots & ischemic strokes
I had a large artery stroke ( MCA) in October and again in November of 2018. I then had an ocular occlusion in March 2019 while on aspirin and plavix. I am now on warfarin and aspirin and have not clotted since. I have secondary APS. Have you had your apls checked?
HiI hope that you are feeling better now. No, I haven't, I hope that you don't mind but what is apls? Also I m unable to take Asprin or anything related to it.
They are antibodies related to clotting. There are three standard ones, CL, LA and B2gp1 the presence of any of these in two blood tests separated by three months plus a clotting event or three pregnancy losses is the criteria to be diagnosed with Antiphospholid syndrome(APS). APS is often seen in lupus patients.
For arterial bed clots, which you occlusion was, anti platelets are more useful than warfarin and DOACs. If stomach reasons are responsible for you aspirin avoidance there are alternatives like plavix and others but they require scripts from your doctor.
