Lovely granary loaf with pumpkin seeds
Mmmm yummy. Since Friday I've made carrot cake, apple crumble and batches of orange marmalade, piccalilli and chilli jam ππ
How lovely. I made a rhubarb and custard cake, six apple pies for the freezer ( brain fog ordered 18 Bradley applesπ³ ). I have made a stock pot of beef chilli for my husband and a stockpot of veggie chilli for me. I love chilli jam but have never made it . Now you have put that idea in my head lol xx
I'm really enjoying cooking/baking again. Got a butter chicken curry on just now, making the chapati later. Plans for this week are tablet, gingerbread and a tea loaf. The chilli jam is so simple and no fuss
I would move in with you and CecilyParsley if you werenβt in shield precautions! I cannot believe the wonderful things you all are making. I heated up a duck leg that I got yesterday at the farmerβs market. I thought that was exotic. π
I always used to enjoy cooking/baking until Lupus and work drained me. Been shielding about a month I think and after about 2 weeks I woke up feeling more energised, I never realised just how exhausted I had become. A lot of the aspects of shielding are difficult but I'm really enjoying having more energy that I can actually enjoy cooking again. I may be exhausted late afternoon /evening but being able to do something I enjoy again prior to it is wonderful.
OMG if I lived in your house I would be huge - it looks lovely x
I am huge but my husband is the bread eater and he eats 80% of the cakes and biscuits too. This loaf lasts him a day or a day and a half if I am lucky. He is a true Scotsman and fits everything and anything into a buttie xx
My mouth is watering as I write. Looks absolutely delicious!ππ Bread puts weight on me TOO easily, but that lovely bread youβve made looks worth the consequences. Yummmm! π
Wow! puts my previous efforts to shame! Fantastic Cecily x
Thank you so much xx
