Good to hear Willow. Hope you have got more of what you need? My town is swamped with volunteers and businesses altering the way they work ie delivering meals or just fresh and more particular produce. I did hope you would find that too, but seems it'snot such a big thing where you are, sorry to hear that. Anyway, hope you are OK for now and will get more shopping again next week. not sure how old you are but Age UK are helping my brother who is 60 and has Parkinsons. All the best and keep us updated if you need any further support. x
Hi Willow - just posted a new post with the latest update from Which? mag : How can coronavirus-vulnerable households get food deliveries? Thought would make sure you see it just case you still need support...
Fantastic. Aren't people wonderful! I am so grateful to my friend -and so lucky as I only moved here nearly 5 mths ago and my bestie who lives here anyway is in Oz seeing her parents and kinda stuck. We'll get through this, however long it takes. And thank goodness it's good weather...I get a bit down in the autumn and winter (like lots of us) and, whilst the summer has it's drawbacks ie the heat isn't exactly our friend, the brighter weather and birds and flowers etc really help. And, of course, this site and all the lovely people! Hope you are doing Ok. x
