Bring on those home testing kits! In Scotland, a kit for home bowel cancer testing arrives in the post on your 50th birthday ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸคŽ...how swiftly could that be adapted for Covid??

Stay well, scatophiliacs xxx

Hi eekt ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿฆ‹

Iโ€™m sorry you have been heightened in your covid19 fears after seeing the report on it being in the sewage.

All things that pass through our bodies are then passed via # 1 or # 2. That same water that flushes away our human waste is put through several processes to filter out the sludge and toxins. The same water is purified multiple times and then routed through your drinking taps.

If the water wasnโ€™t processed in strict fashion we would all have caught many diseases from it.

Try not to worry so much hun if you can.

Do less info overload. Stressing puts the body under great strain making our conditions worse.

While I agree that we all need a test kit at home to be used only when we show several physical symptoms known for covid ( wouldnโ€™t wait for lung symptoms) try to distract yourself sweetie.

If youโ€™re not able to do that Iโ€™m here if I can help you.

Just said a special prayer for you sweetie.

Love and prayers.

Not stressed by it at all honeybug, but thank you for the kind thoughts!

The test could pick up a Covid-19 carrier BEFORE or WITHOUT symptoms, which would greatly aid stopping the spread of transmission....because even after lockdown, transmission will continue until there is a vaccine! xxx

Iโ€™m glad eekt. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿฆ‹

I agree a test would be great and a vaccine...pray it comes soon.

There is so much confusion about the transmission.

I wish there was one set standard guide globally so everyone understands about it and everyone obeys the rules.

Iโ€™m glad youโ€™re not stressed by it.

Take care dear eekt. Be safe.

Love and prayers sweetie.

It could be like the current bowel cancer tests.

eekt profile image
eektโ€ข in reply toLupiknits

Yes, it could be that simple...(actually....I still haven't done the home sampling because I can't face it...but then I do have enigmatic SLE GI symptoms my rheumy refuses to believe exist because it's not in the 25-year-old Lupus Book which is the entire encyclopedia of his knowledge! ) xxx

Transmission could continue after any vaccine.

Flu is a Corona virus and is constantly mutating hence the need for them to constantly create a new vaccine.

Lots of profit potential ahead for vaccine makers.

Did you see the British American Tobacco thingy claims it can produce a vaccine in days...clearly the BBC presenter thought it was an April Fool's joke...but the interview ended with the BAT man saying we currently produce our flu vaccine in tobacco plants?!?!? xxx

No, missed that one.

I do wonder sometimes these days about BBC reports and wonder if they are a joke. Unsure if it's always been that way and I am a bit more critical or whether there has been a change.

There's been a distinct change in the Beeb reporting over a few years, that started with Kirsty Young standing up in another channel's bulletins...here's an interesting news story about Scotland...on German media! xxx

Everyone is in Germany LOL! The standard domestic WC has a 'shelf' so you can do a visual check of your health.... ๐Ÿ˜ฌ ...it takes a lot of getting used to! xxx

And Holland!

As for Japanese toilets, they are astonishing! No TP, no bidet, it does it all in what is practically a undercarriage spa moment!

Oh my goodness...sounds startling ! Might be a run of those on Amazon if the TP situation carries on...โ€ฆ.just think of all the trees that could be saved! :) xxx

When I moved into my place years back I felt a need to remove the mustard coloured bathroom suite. Cos the bathroom was quite big and there was an offer I had a bidet installed. Never really used it in all that time.

But maybe I was forward thinking.....
