Azathioprine side effects

Can anyone help I have recently commenced azathioprione for my SLE and my urine has changed colour, it’s usually fairly clear but it’s now quite luminous! Just had a dip test at the GP and I have blood(I’ve had before), protein and leukocytes which are a concern, is this a normal side effect of commencing these meds? The nurse is sending the sample off and I’ve contacted my rheumatology nurse to let her know!

Thanks guys :)

The colour change is a common effect. Not sure about the rest though.

Hi, I’m with the others, the colour change was quite obvious but again not sure about test results.

Hope all is well with it.
