Confusion

So, I am a bit confused now. I know we were originally told to isolate for 12 weeks which is what I told my work that I was doing. Although I am actually working from home as I have kept office hours. I am not in the high risk category so does this mean I am just self isolating like everyone else and no longer need to stay home for 12 weeks?

I rang my GP but they said I had to have an appointment to find out clarification and I am not wasting their time for a clerical issue. Does Lupus UK know the answer?

lupusuk.org.uk/coronavirus/

royalwolverhampton.nhs.uk/s...

They did a video

I've a text message their resources can be used to feedback

royalwolverhampton.nhs.uk/s...

See screenshots

The video scoring is making people self score and not following stringently the social distancing

This is helping fuel panic and is dangerous

Please can someone feedback this MUST Link back to Government and NHS advise

It's also a score I disputed regards pneumonia and flu vaccine should be for all SLE regardless of treatment or severity

ALL SLE STAY AT HOME

ALL SLE AT RISK ... Vulnerable people (H) higher risk than general population haven't had any information

I'd advise We should all shield for a minimum another 4 weeks

Hi Hamptons ,

If you are able to continue working from home and self-isolate/shield for the next 12 weeks then that is the most sensible precaution.

Yes, I can thank you. I live alone do beginning to worry re shopping but obviously not able to access help as not classed as ‘high’ risk just at risk. Thanks for clarification.

You guys are doing a great job and much appreciated.

Hi Hamptons ,

Whilst you may not necessarily come into the 'extremely vulnerable' group for the government support scheme, many other local volunteering groups are also running schemes to assist people in their area. It may be worth having a look online to see if there is someone who can help with your shopping etc.

Thank you. I have found local groups. Just be nice to buy a pint of milk and leave the four walls. Was unsure if I was supposed to go out or not.

Thank you, I will stay here.

Paul_Howard urgent feedback needed

I'm sorry I'm not well enough i must concentrate on my own health

It will all be OK if every SLE stay on 🛑 and take care even when there is more information about those on amber

Think of it this way the 🚦are not even in place yet there are key worker putting their life at risk to put 🚦in place

There's still not fully done for 🛑

All SLE I'd advise 🛑

Once its calm down then proceed very very slowly in deciding which lane gets the amber light

I personally think minimum a month before anyone with SLE gets sn amber light

Do not jump this too quickly or it will be a disaster

Some SLE even though "mild and stable" and score 1 or 0 you're still on amber

We all need to slow down and pace ourselves

it may be months before you can Go

Thanks.

Really? Your doctor wouldn’t just give you an answer over the phone? That’s so counterproductive!

Receptionist! I had to ask for an appointment to speak to doctor and not wasting their time. Kinda know I need to stay at home.

in reply toHamptons

That seems ridiculous and lacking any common sense. If he would speak to you over the phone it would A) free up his time (as you said, because a full on appt would take more time)

B) keep you healthier than if you had to go out and travel C) if you don’t have Covid19, staying in is wisest and D) if you do have Covid19, staying in is wisest (as you’ve said) E) he’s your doctor for Pete’s sake! He oversees your health and currently the phone would be the best way! Ugh! 😫
