Just seen a news article on NBC in the US that there is a shortage of plaquenil since last week. Can’t post the article for some reason. Anyone else see it?

Hi Lupusrelative, well, yes, there will be a shortage if not very soon. Our government just fast tracked the Chloroquine, Plaquenil for use in the States here. There is a combo cocktail they are trying out. It is Cloriquin along with the "Z' pak for symptom treatment. I do not have the article up yet, but I will post it future if anyone is interested. There is no guarantee with this experiment, but critical patients in the hospital are starting to receive this. We can only hope it lessens the severe symptoms. Be well, be safe, if you can, please read Brookside's new post here, on getting together for the greater good. The world could use the prayers and blessings. I send them to you, your loved ones and to all.. thestormy sunshine:)

Thank you! 🙏

(I can’t even get the allergy meds sent in by my allergist last February 10. Usually takes half a day only.)

O' Brook, allergy season is just blooming. What may I ask do you use?? If to personal , I understand. We use Flonase, and benadryl at night. This season will be a big pollon spring. Living in the country, with farms, they are all in fast bloom this year. Even our Storm has a runny nose from the grasses polloning. I can offer you some natural remedies, if you would like. They just take some time to be effective. Hang in there Brook, and I hope your Doctor gets you the medication you really need!!! Sorry about the spelling, getting late.. Be strong dear friend. blessings thestormy sunshine:)

Ah, Storm, thank you for watching over me. Flonase and Benadryl never help me. I didn’t even know my allergies were active when I went in for my annual check (😆). As you may already know, I do not like being dependent on meds. I don’t mind temporarily if I’m in a bad way, but even then, I try to be careful. If you have something homeopathic, I would love to hear. I basically was picking up these Rx’s to have on hand ‘just in case’.

So he wrote me a Rx for three different things: Mupirocin Ointment

Flunisolide Nasal Spray

Azelastine Nasal Spray

Thank you my Dear Friend!

Hi dear one, But even then,,, sometimes we need a little help, Achew"! bless you. Sorry to get back so late. Lupus and raynauds rule my day, although I tell them ,it is me the storm, now let me be,LOL.. Ok, Flunisolide is the Flonase, you have that one, good. I have a book called "Nature's Medicines", by Author Richard Lucas, forward by Dr. harry Benjamin M.D. It was my sweet mums, she passed it on to me. You may find it on line.. Great stuff, and proven.. Ok, here are a few remedies to start, they are easy ones first, and keep in mind some do take some time, but are safe. Nettle, is a natural antihistamine and gives quick relief from allergies, pollen Look for this one in a tea. Probiotics, these are good for us anyway, and because they support digestive and microbium, immune system they may reduce severity of allergies. As they are all connected. Quercetin this is plant derived and has a natural antihistamine effect. This comes in supplement pill form also , it is found in food you eat, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Citrus Fruits, Onions and lots in Green Teas! Also try diffusing oils to loosen mucus open the airways. They are, Eucalyptus, Lemon balm, Peppermint, Tea Tree oils. And good old Saline. Mix lemon, Tyme, eucalyptus, and tea Tree oils just a few drops into a very steaming bowl of water. then inhale the steam. Clears bacteria, viruses, mucus, coughs, etc... These you can get at the pharmacy department of most grocery stores, or whole food stores on line, homeopathic stores, I hope these help, give them a try. Let me know how you do Brook. Be well my friend, stay happy, joyful and sinus pollen free! peace and prayers to you. thestormy sunshine:)

Wow!! Thanks.

I already do a soil based probiotic every morning (along with cold pressed celery juice and unsweetened grape juice with a teaspoon of cream of tartar) for my ‘gut health’. Also a sit glass of Kombucha (icky).

I will try the others. Thank you!

I love steaming my sinuses! I put a towel over head to steam them good!! Good for the skin too.

Thank you for all the advice. I will let you know how it goes.

As for you telling it to ‘get back’ cause you are there storm’, you gettem girl! Cause you ARE The Storm! And positive always wins over negative. So go kick their booty!!

Booty away!!! I use Kefir, we grow it at home.. Once you start growing it, you cant stop. It multiplies like crazy. Got the Kerfer from a very sweet, old chinese woman in New Jersey years ago. She told us the story of it, back in the day, and we passed it on to people who had very bad conditions, and it put those conditions into remission!! She grew it in the back of her store. If someday I can pass it on to you, I will. That is why it grows so fast, it is to be passed on. Sooo many fantastic results with this ancient Kefir. It grows in your fridge like a mushroom in cups, looks like cottage cheese, has no taste, so you put it on everything, in coffee, on oatmeal, soups, etc. It looks like a science project,LOL... Sorry, cant say enough about this stuff. So you steam way with all those good essential oils and I will always be Kefiring away. I even give it to Storm, he loves it... Happy steaming. All Love to you. thestormy sunshine:)
