We've received a few enquiries about how lupus medication supply in the UK may be affected by a potential "No-Deal" Brexit.
Whilst there is a lot of uncertainty about the outcome and any impact it may have, we've presented answers to some questions in a new article available on our website at lupusuk.org.uk/brexit/
We will continue to update this article as new information/advice becomes available.

I saw a list from a northern irish pharmacist and all 4 of the tablets I take are on the list. I've already tried other tablets and brands and these are the only ones I can take.
I think I have seen the list that you mention. I haven't included a link to it because I am unable to verify their information so I cannot confirm how accurate it is.
Thanks Paul...my sister suggested I ask for a longer prescription i.e. 3 month to ensure coverage as she did for a serious illness years ago & was agreed. Ask my gp & that was a laugh & a no...👎 worth a shot....ml

I'm afraid I don't have any information about the availability of this specific drug at the moment. I am however aware that there are a number of different drugs that are experiencing world-wide shortages which are completely unrelated to Brexit. Many Governments are developing new strategies to ensure consistent supply of essential medications because the current system is too fragile. That doesn't really help much in the short-run though.
