Lupus itch
Hi Mayacat2
Oh my goodness , I am itching too just like I was over 2 years ago. I have no idea why. I just put it down to having lupus which means any day something whacky can happen. Sorry I can't help. Will be following your thread with interest.

Hi. I have SLE and get this awful itching regularly. Usually out of the blue and usually lower half of body especially thighs. Sometimes have to scratch so much I bruise myself but that's how intense it is. I also have eczema and sometimes this consultant's tip for the eczema itching also works on the other 'I want to rip my skin off' itching so it's worth a try see if it helps. He told me to keep Aveeno cream cool. Put it on with flat of hand in the direction of the way your body hairs grow. Don't rub it up and down but stroke it on a coupleof times in the same way. Then leave it. As it cools and penetrates it stops the itching. Also for any itch consults t said don't scratch. Use same method of stroke with flat of hand. Scratching just continues the cycle apparently.
His advice helps me sometimes so hope it helps you too. Take care.
I often get itches all over and I get Dermacool on prescription. I find it does work.
I get very itchy especially on my legs and ankles. It can drive me crazy, I scratch till I bleed and then it's painful. I put Allergy cream on my legs and feet are sometimes that helps.
Hello Hope all is better with the itching. I itch like crazy all of a sudden. Drives me nuts Aveeno baths are soothing for the itch. God Bless and Good luck.
