Hi, so I last saw my Rheumatology nurse specialist a few weeks ago and was told in person, and reiterated in the letter received after that I would next see her and my consultant at the next Lupus clinic in 4 months time.
Cut to last week and I got a phonecall from the hospital receptionist that they needed me to see the nurse specialist, and the appointment is now in 2 days. They wouldn't tell me why.
I'm assuming it's either something in my blood results, or my EMG results (from 7 months ago!) have finally been received. But either of those options don't sound like good news.
It's really making me a bit anxious now. Does anyone have any experience of anything similar that turned out to be harmless?
Thanks.

Oh wow, eescvc, sounds very worrisome. I will think positively, and pray it’s actually not bad at all. But in the meantime, please take time to breath, think positive, and keep us updated. 🙏all my best to you.
I'm generally a positive thinker so my default thought has been that it's something completely minor, or a mistake! Roll on Tuesday at 9am when I'll finally find out.
Probably not your EMG results as, if anything had shown up they surely would have contacted you much sooner? Are you on a med that gets monitored? If so it could be a change of dose or a different med maybe? Do let us know and good luck.
I'm on methotrexate, but we just upped the dose in the last appointment, and my blood results from my GP that monitor this are all normal.
My rheumy team have been chasing the EMG results this entire time (different hospital). I assumed they didn't show anything too, but I really don't know what else it could be at this point.
