Hi all, it is just me, newer, the stormy sunshine. The heart, and its sheltering branches are so important. They are life, breath, and sustenance. I never was educated as to how much lupus plays the part in our Heart. As the organ of life. It is my journey to undertake now, and I am sure it has been for many of us here. I would gladly like your input. I now am on so many BP medications Amlodipine, procardia, and lisinopril, I guess myself on which way is up. This is a huge learning curve for me. The great cardiologist I see does not just see my heart, he see's all my other conditions to. He was the first to point out my ANA, DNA's scatt RBC's,proteins, and vascular, lupus symptoms adding to my high unstable BP numbers.Educating me on why my raynaud's and neuropathy is flaring so badly. My heart is palping, as blood tries to leave its branches, which leaves my hands and limbs, painfully red and blue. Has anyone had these symptoms? I am so grateful to everyone who has been posting me, and I have to send my gratitude to them all...........Our conditions or disabilities have it's rewards. They never leave us where they found us. The rewards are hidden within. What I am learning from you all is, within sufferings there is grace. When we come close to those things that break us down, we touch those things that also break us open! I am open to all. peace, thestorm

What I am learning about the Heart💖
Sunshine! OMGosh, what beautiful, deep insights you just posted. Truly poetic. Yes, coming out of ‘the Storm’ we can see the sunshine! You are definitely our stormy sunshine! Thank you for your beautiful words, and we are so happy you’re coming out on top.
By the grace of God we go.🙏 we love you Storm!
Hi Stormy Sunshine!🤗 So good to hear you sounding positive and open to learning more about your condition and the working of the heart. I’m with Brook regarding your insights and poetic words. 👌 Lovely! I’m so pleased you have a good and caring cardiologist determined to get to the bottom of your problems and explaining everything to you as he does so. 👍🏻👍🏻
I have Raynaud’s and yes my feet and hands can be very odd colours with extremes of temperature and can be painful with the cold. Even on a hot day in Greece years ago somebody commented on my blue toes while I was sitting in the shade, and only when I started to walk around again did they return to a normal colour. Sit for any length of time and they were blue again. 🤦♀️Terrible circulation! I’m also prone to coronary artery spasms which I mentioned to you already, and they have been linked to Raynaud’s. So Raynaud’s has a lot to answer for!
Hoping your medications make all the difference to you Stormy and praying the days to come are full of sunshine in every sense of the word.😉☀️
In my thoughts and prayers 💝🙏🏻 Spotty 💕
I can only second what brook and spotty have said and your words are lovely insightful and thought provoking, a pleasure to read 🙏 and so glad you wrote them. Best wishes 🤗
It sounds like your cardiologist cares for the heart in all ways, the « real » medicine. And you do too. ❤️
