I would do both , talk to nurse as could possibly be your drugs ? See the gp and also get your blood checked. I hope you get some help soon , best wishes 🌸

I agree. It depends on the speed in your area, but it’s often faster to speak to a nurse than see a GP. Both, though.

Do both. Ring your specialist for an appointment you should also have a rheumatologist nurse also. And ring your doctors also. Hope you feel better soon. Take it easy

I get really bad tinnitus when I am having a flare or if I have overdone it. It drives me crazy sometimes.

I did get investigated about it with an MRI but once it was clear that it was due to a flare I was referred to audiology for tinnitus councelling. They have various tools and gadgets that help the ringing settle. They were really helpful.

I hope the other symptoms settle soon.

So sorry to hear you are having such a nasty flare. Here we have a 24 hour helpline to a Rheumy nurse who advises what you should do and she passes on your message to the Rheumy specialist too and discusses it with them before getting back to you. I don’t know how your hospital operates but I think the nurse is the best first port of call and she will advise what to do next. The best of luck and I hope you get help and relief very soon. 🤗🤗

Difficult to get GP appointments here too Sammy, so I think you are doing the best thing in phoning your specialist nurse. If they have an answerphone it is best to phone asap and leave a message and then they’ll get back to you first on Monday morning as they answer the messages in the order they receive them. So sorry to hear about your joint pain now too. Are you taking paracetamol? Hoping you get help on Monday. Hang in there! Take care. 🤗🤗
