Shin pain

Hi All

I just wanted to ask if anyone else suffers from pain in there shins? I’ve struggled with this over the last few days and it is making me less mobile and nothing I seem to do get rid of it unless I’ve had my legs up for a few hours.

I have terrible shin pain. I also have cellulitis that has put me in the hospital at least

Two dozen times in last few years. Having Lupus required iv antibiotics sometimes for two weeks.

You may want to have a dr examine you to see if your could be from there.

I have shin pain, similar to shin splints even though not done anything to cause that, I have erythromelalgia so assume it’s that

I had this a couple of years ago, though mine was more painful at night, even when putting a sheet over my legs caused pain.

After blood tests this was when I was diagnosed with lupus and RA.

I was put on Methotrextate and Hydroxycholoroquine which helped though took three months to kick in.

It’s really painfully I do sympathise with you, hope you get relief soon.

I have lupus, fibro, CTD and erythromyalgia. I have suffered from terrible shin pain. I take regular pregablin, MST and paracetamol but the best thing for the shin pain was physio. It helped the muscles relax and inflammation go down. Maybe worth looking into? They said my muscles in my shins were too tight.

Yes I have recently had the 2 weeks of vitamin B injections and not due another one until January.

Have this intermittently,along with pain in one toe, and in the area where. I had a bunion sorted years ago.

Was at the GP today.

I said to him that it seems to me that lupus doesn’t make any sense. He agreed.
