Sildenifil when trying to conceive?

I take sildenifil for secondary raynauds disease and am also trying for a baby. If you have been in this situation what was the advice you were given from medical professionals?

I have been advised to continue taking it until I find out I am pregnant...but that slightly worries me still. I'd be keen to find out what advice is provided in different areas/from different doctors. Thank you!

I didn’t realize I was sick during my child bearing years (I have 5 that are all adults now), but, I too would be concerned about taking anything and becoming pregnant. I hope you figure this out and I wish you the very best. Dancingc22, and all my best in getting pregnant! How exciting!!!

I was having a quick look at the NICE guidelines for Sildenafil and thought it may be worth a look:

I just noticed a bit on pregnancy on the NICE guidelines.

I worked on the trial for this drug many years ago for a company that were processing the data for Pfizer. It was interesting to see how a hypertension drug became a breakthrough for people with Erectile Dysfunction. I don’t really know of the others benefits that it had.

That’s interesting! Yes, well it certainly improves my raynauds...however I’d much rather have ulcers on my fingers than risk a baby’s development
