Folic acid and pregnancy vitamins

Ok so I've just found out that I'm about 9 weeks gone I want yo start taking pregnancy vitamins but already take folic acid daily. Do I stop these if I'm taking the vitamins?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope that everything goes very well for you.

I'm afraid that none of us here are able to give you medical advice so I would strongly encourage you to make an appointment with your GP as soon as possible so that they can refer you to a pregnancy clinic. If you have a diagnosis of lupus then you should also contact your consultant in case they would recommend any changes to your current treatment regimen.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! Here the recommendation for folic acid in pregnancy is 1 mg per day. I don’t know what it is there but unless you are taking a huge amount it should be okay. I would talk to an OB physician or nurse to confirm. Take care.
