Universal Credit

I recently attended my personal Independence payment interview which really stressful. It would take six weeks before I hear anything from DWP. I really want to get back work. I applied for job seekers allowance. I had the interview on Thursday. They came to the decision I was not eligible. I have applied for universal credit instead. I have upcoming bills and am not sure how am going to pay them. My universal interview is on Monday which am nervous about. I am hoping I will get universal credit fortnightly instead of monthly.

What is everyone experiences with universal credit whilst having Lupus? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hiya, I have lupus and had to stop working at 56. I receive PIP & Universal Credit. Explain to them exactly how you feel, all your symtoms and how it affects your daily life. Personally I haven't had any problems........ write everything down so you dont forget anything. Let me know how you get on and good luck!!
