Fluoxetine

[Melaxx]

I’m back on fluoxetine 20 mg for a week and I feel very restless, I can’t relax , I haven’t had a good night of deep sleep , the Dr said I should give it a bit longer but I’m way more anxious, I can’t stop still if I go for a coffe I’m not able to sit down and enjoy it 2 min seems 2 hours . I don’t know what to do , I don’t want to crush bc of lack of rest / sleep.

when do you take it? my Dr told me to take mine at breakfast because it can cause insomnia. I found I slept a little better with it, I still have nights I can't sleep tho. It's strange how these things affect us differently.

good luck with it. I think you said before this stage only lasts a short while. you can get through it. XX

I take it in the morning , I’m very stressed at the moment maybe that doesn’t help , I’m going to see a therapist next week hopefully he’ll teach me how to cope with this unbearable anxiety and the dark moments of depression. Thank you 😊 x

I tried a therapist. totally useless. apparently breathing stops the pain and the anxiety and If I feel depressed just think happy thoughts. I gave up after about 6 weeks. I hope yours is better XX

I can’t take Fluoxetine because it interacts with one of my Lupus meds. Can’t remember which one unfortunately. Maybe ask the pharmacist about drug interactions. 🦋
