Don't often personal stuff on here, but am feeling rather pleased with myself so thought I'd share it with you guys.
I have just come through my first major flare since I lost my dear hubby 2 years ago. Had been feeling really good so it came as a bit of a shock when I finally realised what was happening ( My husband used to spot the signs & look after me) . But I coped so I'm sticking two fingers up to Lupus - you ain't getting the better of me !!! 😀😁

Hi! Glad to hear you came through. Sorry for the loss of your husband. He appeared to be a great support in helping you manage your illness. Looking back though do you remember why you may have gotten a flare? I'm only curious because I'm very photo-sensitive. When I go out to do yard work I'm very careful to cover up. I don a wide-brim hat, gloves, long-sleeve cotton shirt and sunblock. You stated you were feeling really good. Were you outside doing yard work or something?
I had been outside quite a bit so it could be that . Not a problem at the moment as it hasn't stopped raining for a week. Am usually very careful out and about but probably got a bit lax as I've been feeling so good ! Still , not complaining - it was good to be able to get out in the sunshine while it lasted.
