Hi all an non lupus related question.

So I have been looking to get into a full time office role for a while. I had a trail shift after a successful interview last Friday, they said it was between me and one other. I was told I would get notified either way on this Tuesday (the 2nd). I heard nothing so called up wednesday and had to leave a voice mail. As of today: still nothing, not even a text saying they need more time to decide.

Some of my friends think it could be they want us both so are trying to sort out finance but it is a big company and it is so frustrating to not know, even if I was not successful I would like to hear. I am going to try to contact them again on Monday but does anyone think I still have a shot at this role?

P.s. They don't know I have lupus.

Sometimes companies take longer than they say finance can always be one of the issues, maybe the person is off sick that’s dealing with the job.

You can always call and speak to them and say that you have other irons in the fire and you needed to know, polite way of asking them to get a move on with their decision.

I definitely will, I'll be so excited if I do actually get it, even though I was working all day I had much more energy left after my trail shift than when I do my current job.

In my experience, the likeliest explanation is that they are still working on finance or HR is on holiday. Keep asking!
