My son may have tonsillitis I have SLE should I be around him?

Hello Sami;

Yes you can be around him, Lupus as far as it is know now, and have been no reporter case that I’m aware of. Lupus is not contagious. You can’t get it from being around someone.

I was more worried that I'm taking methotrexate and he has the illness I'm just not sure if it'll effect me xx

If in doubt, ask the specialist nurse or doctor but you should be ok. Sticking to regular hygiene rules always helps when nursing a sick child. X
