Many thanks to you.

Hello LilyMistri2
I ad a home assessment and got enhanced level awards for both care and mobiity components. I posted about it here healthunlocked.com/lupusuk/...
To emphasise one point, in a home assessment, I am sure it helps if you make no effort to tidy up or make things look good. My sense was that the assessor was taking in all the little details of my home to see if they supported my application. For example, she was able to see the notes I leave out for the postie saying I can't fet to the door but I AM in, the way I have everything arranged so I don't have to leave my armchair all day if necessary, the arrangement of kitchen aids, raised toilet seat, general air of a house that hasn't been cleaned properly for a year...!!!!!! Do you have any specific concerns? x
Thank you so much. Do you recommend taking a tape recorder?
I intended to tape the interview, but then I saw on the guidelines that they only allow you to tape if you get permission from them in advance, AND can provide a copy of your recording to the assessor to take away with them. This was beyond my capability, so I ended up just writing a few notes on a notepad during it. I suppose you could try taping it surreptiously, but I don't know whether that would be viable? x
Hi I have helped folk with a lot of these and I would say the same as above so not actually make the effort to look good. It goes against you. Have someone with u!! Always make a note or ask whoever is with you to if you were able to complete the 'tests' at the end. You may need this info in the future. All id say is be honest. How bad is a bad day, don't fall into how great life can be... tell them what it's like to not be able to do x, y and z. Good luck xx
