Sorry but I have a lot questions I need answering here are some.

Perpura suffered with 1 recurring spot (berween 4-6 weeks interval) of perpura for about 18 months now on my arm between my elbow and back of hand. Always appears during the night sometime so there when I get up. Then recently it started getting worse, multilpe spots appearing over a few days. Should I be concerned? What is causing it and what is causing it to get worse? Seeing my gp on 6/11 so I'll be asking her but thats a few weeks yet.

Yet another water infection stopped urologist from doing bladder and bowel tests. Wants me to go on low dose antibiotics till they can see me again, don't know when. I thought having too much antibiotics is not good for you?

Need tips on how to cope with impending winter please I am suffering already. Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis and SLE. I've been housebound due to such high sensitivity to sun now it seems I'm going to be housebound due to pain.

So so tired I need energy anyone know of any healthy energy boosts.

All replies with help or suggestions greatly received. Oh and good luck everyone with coping with the winter.

Hi - I have Discoid Lupus and primary Sjogrens. I am now covered in eczema - uncomfortable hardly covers it. My inner thighs are covered in aching red blotchy bruises - so far Drs have no answer or medication! So I understand your frustration. Can I make a suggestion for your water infection? D-Mannose - a natural mineral from cranberries- available in Holland and Barrett and other health shops. I can’t take antibiotics and this stuff stopped the infections immediately! It kills off the bacteria in the bladder. Expensive but worth it - look it up on line. So hope you give it a try. Good luck

When you say purpuria do you mean under the skin? If so then I posted recently about a possibly very similar lesion recurring on my shin. I put a collage picture up of the lesion going from on top of skin to reappear under skin after about 5 weeks. No answers yet but my suspicion for myself is some kind of Vasculitis. Mine too seems to relate to UTIs or blood in pee and rheumy blamed related antibiotics but I’m not so sure.

Cas70, I had heard that cranberry juice was good for water infections so will definitely give D-manose a try. Sorry you're suffering so badly with you're eczema, I daily use non perfumed moisturiser liberally and E45 mine isn't too bad. Yes I have unexplainable bruising too with no answers from drs apart from oh you must have knocked yourself and forgotten. So many bruises and I know I haven't knocked myself. Thankyou and good luck.

Twitchytoes, yes under the skin totally. I've looked at pictures of vasculitis and it doesn't look the same. No I don't think it's antibiotics doesn't match up at all. Drs don't seem worried so maybe I shouldn't either but with the unexplainable bruising I look like a battered houswife, worse because I'm wheelchair bound. Keep covering up I suppose, which emphasises my last comment if my skin accidentally comes exposed. Oh well can't stop others from being concerned.
