Hello Pinky06,
What type of pain are you experiencing?
I constantly live in 90p flip flops from primark, even for work.
I have a pain in the soles of my feet which feels to me like burning. The pain is worse in heat and excess walking. I sometimes also get painful calves, which limits me walking altogether.
I have a home foot massager and use peppermint foot lotion. Although it does not go away I get a little bit of relief.
I’ve had a couple of foot massAges too by hand. It’s quite painful but does give abit of relief
X
Hi Pinky,
I would say a visit to your Gp or rheumatologist is Definately worth doing.
I suffer with the same, it started happening in my hands too (a few months after my feet) and both hands and feet swell. My Gp put me on Gabapentin, it said it's all vascular problems caused from the lupus. They have helped, I don't get the symptoms daily now, just when I exert myself.
I switched from the 90p flip flops and now wear thicker soled ones (they really make a difference) Rocket dog do nice ones-if you look on mandm direct site you get them half price too. I also put vapor rub on the soles of my feet and when they're really bad pop ice packs underneath. Hope this helps, I know how horrible it is xx
