Hi, I have come away for 5 days and just discovered my meds of 17.5mg Prednisolone and 400mg Plaquinel (Hydroxyc.) were left behind. I am on another immune suppressant which I do have with me plus my other meds.
I’m in Germany. Any thoughts on how best to cope? I can call Rheumy nurses tomorrow.

Two suggestions, if you have your European health card you could go to a clinic and see if can see a doctor or see if you can get sorted at a pharmacy. I forgot 2 1/2 days of lyrica and omeprazole in spain and i was able to purchase it over the counter. I hope you can get sorted as it’s very worrying, good luck 🌸
The pred is potentially more concerning. Since you are on a supra-physiological dose, your adrenals will naturally have stopped producing cortisol. It's very possible that that you will struggle to cope with a sudden withdrawal, and there's even a risk of an adrenal crisis.
I would strongly advise you to contact a doctor/ go to the local A&E and get some replacement doses straight away.
I wouldn't be so worried about the immune suppressants; they usually
have a long half life and a longer term effect, although of course you
Don't see how your rheumy nurses can help - but you should be able to go to any pharmacy and tell them your history and they should be able to provide emergency supplies of the pred which is the most important. One day without probably won't matter even at your dose but more would be risky. Then you may have to see a doctor to get a script for enough to get you home.
When away from home it is always a good idea to take a copy of your scripts with you - you can't use them but it is proof you need steroids. I have been known to stop halfway down the road to the motorway to check and be sure I have my medications and I refuse to be parted from them while travelling!
But remember - not all countries have the same medications you have at home - I live in northern Italy, we have no prednisolone at all. They use methyl prednisolone and a specialist form of delayed release prednisone. Down the road (literally) in Austria the prednisone which I use is not available - nor is it available in the UK. So it is quite important to be OCD about having your medications with you when travelling.
You should never just "stop" taking Prednisolone and you really need to see a Doctor and explain your situation. You should sort this out without delay, it is extremely important.
Thanks for all your responses. I was able to walk in straight to the doctor this morning and get an emergency supply. It was a series of misunderstandings that caused the problem - I won’t take any chances in future.
