Coffee and DLE Lupus

Hi I suffer from DLE lupus but my nasty scars have now completely gone with the help of a steroid cream (Elocon) followed up with a non steroid cream (Protopic). I am so pleased I can now look in the mirror without feeling sick. I suffered with these marks for over six years until I found out what it was.

Now two years after diagnosis my skin looks amazing!!!!! I always wear factor 50 all year round.

I have read that coffee is not good for lupus sufferers but I always drink it and have never had a flare up from it. I love coffee so don't wanna give it up!!!!! Anyone else had effects from coffee???

I find I can feel very strange the day after having too big a cup of coffee. I only have occasionally, but a small cup best for me.
