Well, I have just been referred under a two week rule for suspected bowel cancer (I should be seen by colorectal team soon. Then my GP rang this morning to say I am even more anaemic than at last check plus folate deficient, so will stay folic acid too. I now have an under active thyroid and resistant raised blood pressure with proteinuria, so wayhay my Lupus is going crazy! Effusions on my knees is back plus a plethora of annoying symptoms .
No wonder I feel washed out.
That’s my day so far 😂😂😂
Thinking of all you peeps.....I know this is a pretty average list for most of us

Ohhhh I’m sooo sorry to hear about your list of conditions and the suspected cancer. I have just prayed for you 🙏. I hope you will find some relief soon and that you will not have cancer dear.
Thank you honey bug. Most of it is just annoying. I’m TrueType not expecting them to say I’ve got cancer, I think it’s just on the safe side to check. I’m on a lot of meds and mix that with hypothyroidism, bingo, you’ve got a body that doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going!
I certainly hope and pray that you’re cancer free. Yes I’ve got the hypothyroidism problems too and you’re absolutely right about not knowing if coming or getting most days.
Well that's a very stressful thing on top of all the other symptoms. I just went through the whole suspected bowel cancer rush back in December myself. It's a lot to have on your mind and the tests are uncomfortable. I hope it all goes as well as it can and hopefully you'll find yours is clear of cancer, and maybe it will show some other straightforward reasons for your symptoms. But I understand the gravity of the process, that the possibility of it being cancer is very much there and exactly what it feels like during.
Mine was not cancer thankfully. The colonoscopy showed Diverticular disease and the CT showed fecael loading, which I think is the result of my connective tissue disease as this began simultaneously.
Do tell us how you get along. With much hope for you for clear results.
Thank you, yes, I am more inclined to think it’s all just the lupus and it’s symptom friends of weird and wonderful disease labels, but like you say, it is present! I’m glad yours was not cancer too. Diverticulitis can be unpleasant but doesn’t come with the horror factor of a cancer diagnosis.
I expect I’ll perk up when I start the thyroxine.
You sound very positive, despite everything! Fingers crossed for you! 🤗
