Recently got diagnosed and on meds but now I seem to have this horrible UTI that won't go away even while taking meds. I've seen plenty of my RA, nephrologist, and they say its just the on set of my lupus. Has any felt confused by the answers of the doctors.

TI tend to get uti / kidney infections quite regularly and as soon as I realise I have to stop my methatrexate until the infection has gone, please don’t mess around get it checked I didn’t then my wife said enough is enough and took me to hospital the uti had turned to sepsis hope you are feeling better soon
So sorry to hear of your suffering. I've recently had my 7th uti since Sept last year. Having just moved I had no GP and infection went to my kidney resulting in me being hospitalised. So please keep on top of any infection and tell your GP as soon as poss. I am fairly new to this syte and finding it helpful so I hope you do.
Hi - my husband constantly had UTI’s until our friend who has bladder cancer put us on to D-mannose a natural mineral. It helped him, as it had our friend. It doesn’t interfere with any meds and can be bought in pill or powder form from Holland & Barrett or any good health store or on line. I have given this to 4 other people who all had great results. My husband has not had another UTI - follow the instructions. It is a God send. Good luck
