Hi Sunilmc,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby!

We are not medically trained here therefore, we cannot comment on what a CRP level of 6.1 may indicate. Are you able to book an appointment with the doctor to discuss this result?

I think to check with a doctor is best. My second son developed an infection at 4 days old. There was a certain panic about some of the levels in his blood but it turned out the lab hadn't factored in his age.

Crp shows any inflammation /infection that is going on. I am a nurse in Paediatrics and a crp of 6.1 is not at all worrying.
