Rhuemi appt- does this make sense?

I've seen a rheumatologist tonight. Everything indicates I have Lupus, but I might not have it. I have arthritis in most of my joints, facial rash and fatigue. I've had a steroid injection and I'm told this might put me into remission 😁😁. From what I understand, the reaction to the steroid injection will be very telling.

Hi HeKe

Good news that you have seen a Rheumatologist - appointments are few and far between!

When you say that you have arthritis, do you get swelling with the pain? Do your blood tests give any clues?

My rheumy used my positive response to steroids as part of her diagnostic criteria at my initial appointments as my blood tests did/do little to support my signs and symptoms. The response in AI inflammation tends to be quite rapid - just a few days for you to see/feel results.

Hope you get the results and answers that you need. Clare xx
