Stomach, ribs, breast & ear (all in one)

Hello all

In February i started having a flareup. My fingers became very painful, i had diarrhoea, so i contacted my dr who immediately asked me to come into hospital and be admitted for a flolan infusion. I already had an appointment to have the infusion at the day unit (SMDU) Manchester. My experience of staying in hospital for flolan infusion is really not good.

I managed till my appointment which started on Monday 12th March - friday 16th march. It wasn't easy because i got of early to go to Manchester inorder to start my infusion by 8am- 4pm (every day). It was exhausting but it was better than staying in hospital.

I am having constant pain and discomfort in my tommy. From my belly botton to the top of my rib cage. I struggle with food , so i take yogurt before or after meal. My Gaviscon is on my bed drawer (for my heart burn). I told my registrar about the discomfort and she said she will book me in for a scan and also took some blood test. I had a read online about the pain and one thing they said was that long use of drugs like Asprine can affect the lining of the stomach (i will ask my Dr if i could stop taking asprin).

Now i noticed the if i cough, sneeze or laugh my ribs on both sides begin to ache at every deep breath. My mum massaged my rib but am abit worried ( i have never had it before).

I am struggling to hear with my right ear. When i use my ear piece i notice that i cant hear properly with my right ear . I noticed a scar in my breast i dont seem to know how it appeared. Last year i found a lump in my left breast, during my examination i noticed i had a scar on my nipple area (left breast). But just on thursday morning i was having a shower and i saw another scar in my right breast. I just do not understand all this. When i got home on Friday after my last infusion my my gave me a letter from Salford hospital for my pre-operation assesment prior to my up coming right knee surgery (my MRI showed that i have osteochondria lesion in my knee).

I am exhausted i dnt know what comes next. I am becoming so unable to cook or do anything to help my mum because i physically can't. I am concerned about my tommy and the pain in my ribs.

Please can any one tell foods that i can have to sooth the pain in my tommy. Thanks and God bless.

Regards

Ije
