I've only just discovered that brain fog is a symptom. I went to a fundraising coffee morning today and forgot my neighbours' names. Whilst discussing supper with my husband I stood in the kitchen miming stirring and saying I'd be making that thing with rice and fish that's like kedgeree but sloppier! I hope the cake turned out well. X

Had to chuckle...look in the sock drawer for the cat...lol. I forget things more than I used to but put it down to age, maybe some of it is "brain fog". How did the cake turn out????

Well, some of the cake was awesome and some sucked. The first batch I forgot to grease/flour the sides of the pan so I ended up with crispy hard edges that were very sorry and tall fluffy center, they ended up looking like domes almost! Second batch was much better but I was way out of spoons by then so almost forgot it in the oven and feel asleep. Thankfully my daughter asked about it before it got ruined.
