Costochondritis is chest wall pain, it affects the ribs and sternum area. Nothing to do with fingers.

Hi Uluivuda ,

As PMRpro has said, costochondritis is the medical term for inflammation of the cartilage that joins your ribs to your breastbone (sternum).

Is it a pins and needles sort of sensation you are feeling in your hands? Have you discussed this with your doctor?
