I was out with friend's a few wks ago and we were under an outdoor heater. One of those that is red, don't know if it was an halogen or Infrared heater. Anyhow a few days later I was covered in a very fine red, itchy rash on my face, neck, shoulder's and arms. Everywhere the heat had hit me. Some of the rash turned into big spots that are intensely itchy, the type I get from the sun. I'm just wondering if it's happened to anyone else? Thought I'd be safe in the dark of the night, seems not.

Were you wearing skin products with perfume in? That sets my skin off when exposed to sunlight, it’s worth exploring
Hi Cathie, I was wearing 50+sun protection as always. Even when not going out I wear 50+sun protection. It's flummoxed me.
Most sun protections have perfume in them and some of us can’t use it as it sets off a horrible rash. Even non allergic ones. I went for a week of tests at ninewells in Dundee where they tried different skin products and different kinds of light. Now I have to use creams with nothing in them and can sit in sun, but prefer shade and a hat. I hope you can find a solution.
No I’ve never been under them but I’m very allergic to lots of things. If you can get to Dundee they’ve got a superb unit specialising in allergies and light.
