Hi everybody it’s been a while . It’s the wonderful build up to xmas . Or should I say the cold and the aching joints and of course the wonderful festive fatigue . I have a query does any body else have problems with bruises that won’t go away my legs look terrible covered in purple and blue bruises some have been there for months . They look awful just wondered if anybody else suffers with these or have any thoughts . Thanks merry xmas x 🧚🏻‍♀️⛄️⛄️

Happy Christmas to you too and lovely seeing you back on forum. Bruising can be inflammation of the blood vessels or a side effect of our treatment either steroids or immuno- suppressives!. Which ever it is you need to mention them to your consultant as they need to be checked out. Hope your due a review soon and I've been helpful. X

I get these bruises on my arms. Looks like I’ve been battered!

I’m on mtx and steroids and doc and rheumy says nothing to worry about.

But do get it checked out,yours might be different

it May be nothing to "worry" about, but still hard to have unsightly skin....my husband said just today that I should get a massage ...I said I can't have anyone touch or see my crummy looking skin....as I write that, I can see how stupid I sound....

My skin is a mess..no bruises, but mottled skin on my legs . I have subcutate Lupus..if the sun or florescent lights catch me withought my sunblock...the rashes start and I feel vey sick.
