Today I have my usual hand and wrist pain but it's now up my whole arms and elbows. I can hardly use my arms. I just feel like I could cry any second! It's just a constant pain up my whole arm and I my elbows.
I take slow release morphine twice daily anyway. Even typing this is killing my hands/arms. I actually move the phone instead of my hand when I text if u get what I mean!?
Could just scream and cry, my partner having a lay in today so I don't want to wake him up to help with the kids 4 and 20 months!

You poor thing! I know the pain, but I don't have small children anymore. Don't be ashamed to plonk them in front of children's telly/DVDs if that keeps them quiet ( I did in my time). Here's a hug x
I had to send my 4 yr old up to wake daddy which I felt bad doing but just couldn't put up with the pain any longer. So he got me some morphine (15mg) liquid and a hot water bottle and am doing lot better now! Can use my arm again and not anywhere near as painful x
I am so sorry Sara. I too woke up this morning with pain radiating from my left hip, down my thigh to my knee and calf. I did start crying. And its ok to cry. It is raining where I live this morning, and I sometimes wonder if that is the reason. Possibly you could invest in a heating pad which I find of great help when I get this pain. I sit on. The couch with the pad on whatever is hurting. I also use oils sometimes, peppermint. But, only may help temporarily.
I pray and hope your pain dissipates as the day goes on.
Yes I definitely find the weather has a big impact, I know if it's raining when I wake up! I don't even need to look out the window. The damp weather is def the worst! It kills me. I have terrible sacroiliac joints and actually cry out in my sleep when going from my side to my back and have to hold the headboard to move myself I'm only 38!!!
Once the morphine kicked in I then stupidly started on removing some fitted wardrobe doors! Why oh why do I do it to myself! I will never learn! I can't just sit back Ive always been independent and want to do these things for myself and I hate that my body won't let me now x
I know this sounds weird but I started with this six month ago feels like broken arms etc went to Nero consultant n he said it’s my nerves not behaving like they should. I was on gabapentin but that has slowly in years my body got used to it so on something else now. Ask for Nero referral tell me how u go
Hi I also suffer with this, they told me its cubital tunnel syndrome, mine has been going on for 4 months and almost daily, it feels like someone has given you a dead arm and hurts to use it so I can totally relate to this x
I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing such severe pain. Have you informed your doctor about how you are struggling?
We have a blog article about pain management which may be worth looking at in case there are any tips in there you haven't tried - lupusuk.org.uk/pain-managem...
