Lupus rash????

Hi any one get red skin when in a flare my legs always go red and blotchy mainly from the knees down

I am in the start of a flare today in the pics are bits of what the red blotches are like but in a full flare they are terrible

They do not itch or feel raised

My doctor and specialist do not seem concerned

Well I would get that check out. It could be a lot of things, I have lupus and my rashes I get during a flare up is more spread and on my face and neck and chest too. But you never know, It could be some kind of rash from lupus , or new medicine that you may be on, or it could be some problem with your circulation in your legs. I would give up, and great job on pictures, keep that going and I also do a journal so when I go in to see my family doctor and my specialist's ( which I have 4), they love the idea that I do this. It helps them to come up with a game plan.

I believe it is vasculitis. You should definitely tell your doctor asap.

Not vasculitus had that checked they then thought it was one of my meds so changed but no it still keeps coming back

I'm glad it's not vasculitis. I have that and it looks just like yours for the first day. Then it spreads and gets purple and black. Good luck in diagnosing it.
