Mother of a child that died from Lupus

I am just entering this site. My daughter died on October 16, 2016 from complications associated from Lupus.

I am trying to live day by day with this horrible realization of not having her in my life any more.

How utterly heartbreaking for you Amy. I lost my first son (not to Lupus though), so I feel for you very much.

I hope the folks on this forum can help you make some sense of your daughter's illness.

A very warm welcome.

So sorry for your loss. My aunt also passed 2010 from complications of her lupus. I now am on my own journey with Uveitis and an undiagnosed auto immune disease.

It's never easy knowing that a loved one is gone. Remember the good times and share those memories to help keep them alive in your heart!

Amy, a childs loss is truely the hardest for mothers to bear. Time may make the pain less but this is what I believe...if you believe in God and the Hearafter, you only need to remember that this life is only temporary. Our real abode is in the next life. So you have not actually lost her forever... She has "moved" to another realm. Her and your pain and suffering in this life may actually become the reason for both your souls to be together again in Heaven. There is no injustice with God and He Is Most Merciful. My sincerest prayers will be for you to have patience, peace and happiness here and for Heaven in the next life. God Willing. Love and peace. xox
