Hip injection 👍👍

Well i had my steroid injection this morning , not painful getting the injection but im feeling a bit sore now . I have to rest up for 48 hours so i will have to download some more books on to my kindle . I also got an x-ray of both hips as they are both sore when getting out of the chair , but I don't think its bursitis in the right hip. Hopefully this will give a bit of a pain break for another couple of months. Best wishes to all xxxx😀😀

Great stuff W well done - now rest up and read something therapeutic. I read a great novel called "The Trouble with Sheep and Goats" by Joanna Cannon - a new novel and a "coming of age" detective story with a difference. Also I recommend Amy Liptrot's bestselling autobiography, The Outreach. She grew up same part of my island home as my boys so I know her family and many of the places and people she knows - so I maybe bias of course but I thought it a very good read nonetheless. X

Thanks TW , fingers crossed this will help for a while. I will check out those books and see if they appeal . I have several books that I haven't read beside my bed but find It hurts my hands holding them , the kindle is much easier. I've just read another Harry Hole book which I really enjoyed. Hope you are keeping well at the moment 😀Xx

Fingers crossed Lupi , i had my other hip x-rayed today as well as very painful getting out off a chair, hopefully not OA 😀

Mine's a mix of oa and inflamatory. The best advice I got if and when you get the full relief is not to go crazy and overdo it. Really hope it works as well with you x

Really pleased for you! I hope the relief kicks in soon. And I have my fingers crossed re the the X-rays. I have OA in both of my hips and was told at 38 that I would need replacements. Trying to delay that as long as possible. They both hurt every day. X

Thanks wendy , I will know in a week if its helping. I hope you can get some help with the hip pain . Have you ever tried biofreeze, i use the roll on one , it does give some temporary relief xx

Thanks pixie 😀 Im a bit sore tonight , but it usually gets a bit worse before it gets better. Lying on my good side on sofa to take the pressure off . I hope you are keeping well yourself, best wishes xxx
