Prior to last post kidney infection...

Glad I listened to everyone on my last post about my on going kidney infection, I have now had it for a week been on 2 different courses of anti biotics An feel worse then ever today... dragged myself to work for 45 minutes then decided I felt to bad An went hospital, currently sitting here in waiting room now.. had sats done An my blood pressure is 164/105? The nurse didn't say anything just got another nurse in... I assume this is high?

Just a tad for a young person. And renal problems can contribute to that. I assume the nurse went to get a second opinion? Just to be sure.

Nothing at all was said about blood pressure, just took a water sample had blood In my urine for past week, and was told to stop taking anti biotics and just drink fluids to wash it out... dr wasn't interested one bit I had lupus...

Totally agree :)

Hopefully the rheumy can send you to a nephrologist too, if the system allows it.

That top number is pretty high, concerning your blood pressure. Anything over 160 can be considered "needing immediate medical attention". Kidney problems can definitely contribute to that as well.

I'm glad you went to the hospital. Smart move!

I really feel for you, I have had a similar experience, your in the right place now. You must have been on total agony with the. Kidney infection.
