Diabetes and lupus

Hi

Just wanted to know if someone else has developed diabetes due to all the medication you are on for your lupus. I was on tablers but they've now put me on insulin because they can't control my blood sugars. If so has anyone had any improvements with the diabetes

Hi Ajanjua, I don't have diabetes thank goodness but I know a few Lupie friends who developed steroid induced diabetes, another unfortunate side effect! Then of course if you are on other medications which most of us are it just makes controlling it all more difficult. ☹️ Bronagh
