Weight gain an feeling s of burning with Lupus

I always feel on fire with the Lupus .. worse in the Spring and Summer when its humid/warm .. it triggers like a prickly heat, I itch and then the lesions start. The only way Ive coped is to have cold showers as putting anything on my skin seems to hold the heat in. As with the weight gain .. it is a joke as I weighed 63kg and now weigh 87kg!! I hardly eat to but the doctor said I need to diet to get my weight down ... I said I hardly eat (but eat healthy) so I got no help ... Its the medication combined with my disability ... What can we do? There is no answer and the medical staff cant give me any answers either ..

I piled on nearly 40lbs in three months taking prednisolone. It took me a while to lose the majority of it, but only after I stopped taking pred'. What I found more difficult was my body ached so much I could not do any strenuous exercise/play sports.
