That was yesterday for me. Woke up wracked with pain, laid in bed most the morning but got a call that my daughters needed their dance school t-shirts that were at mine, because they were doing a performance at a fete. So I got up still in pain and pushed through to take them their t-shirts and watch them perform and it was worth it!

I agree with this 100%. For those of us who have lupus it's a battle everyday, and I have my mottos.

I may have to change how I do things or do them differently. I have had to go barefoot for the last 2 years because of lupus issues but, I still do what I want to, and still go where I want to. I just had to change the way of doing them.
