Hi. It sounds quite likely that you are pregnant. This is certainly how I felt at the very start of all three of my pregnancies. I'm assuming that, as you are here, you have Lupus? If so are you on medication for it? You need to see your GP as soon as possible if so. Good luck!
Firstly why are you not using contraception? Your period may not come on the exact day however, you need to take a pregnancy test and a still test. Seeing your gp would be the best best choice at this early stage. Agreeing with twithytoes if on medication there are other complications. Please think about your future health.
Kushsex, I remember when I was younger than I am now, and had unprotected sex with my then boyfriend. He ended up being the father of my three children a long-term mistake that turned in a lifelong regret to some degree. I do not know if you are a lupus patient, but if you are then you know how difficult it can be at times when you are coping with lupus without a child to tend for, having a baby will only make it ten times more difficult. What about if you have a flare up, God forbid?
The baby will not understand that mommy is sick. The child has needs and no understanding about the world around them. The child will be totally dependent upon you, are you ready for something like that? You will have to give up all of your leisure time, no more going out, no putting yourself first, no buying for yourself before purchasing all the necessities that the child will need, which doesn't seem to ever end. Diapers alone will cost you a small fortune. You will have to put yourself and the baby on a schedule. What about your plans in life? Do you have any? Do you have a support system that will help you through it all? One child can hold you back for a minimal of ten years, and that is if the child is born healthy. A special needs child can drain you of your energy and finances. You can be healthy and the child's father, but if you don't eat enough of the right nutrients the baby can be born with all kinds of problems. No more fast food burgers and other crap.
It is difficult for us to tell for sure if you are pregnant. I pray that you are not. You have your whole life ahead of you, you need to selfishly live it right now. You also have diseases to concern yourself with. I would strongly suggest that you go to your doctor and have a pregnancy and STD tests taken. Until then, and after then protect yourself. Men respect women who have a form of discipline and know how to protect themselves. The ones who don't know how to protect themselves, often find themselves alone with the baby while the man is free to walk away and resume another relationship with another woman who will be wise enough to at least protect herself. Be well and be safe girlfriend!
I think probably a gp is the best person to speak to,howrver if you were to have unprotected sex from 21st to 24th and your period is due 25th the odds are your probably not. It takes something like 3 days for the sperm to meet the egg and your fertile time is usually 12th to 16th day of your cycle (counting your first day as the day your last period was),but strangernthings happen at sea as they say. Please be careful, if you really want a baby then it has to be planned well in advance, medication checked for compatibilty with pregnancy, andmensure you are as healthy and prepared as you can be,with a partner onmboard who wants it and is as prepared for the long haul ahead too. Anything other than that is unfair to all parties, especially the child in the midst of it all. I hope you find yourself pregnant in the right circumstances x
If nothing has happened by now, go to the chemist or supermarket and buy a pregnancy test kit, that way you should know one way or the other very quickly.
