Subacute lupus

Last year I was diagnosed with subacute lupus, most information is about discoid and systemic lupus that I read so I'm starting to get confused......

Thank you I now know that a lot of my symptoms like hair loss muscle aches fevers and tiredness to name a few, is mainly caused by the mountain of medication I'm taking, that's where I was getting confused....thank you again for your help

Hello. And welcome to Health Unlocked. I have subacute cutaneous lupus (SCLE) too. Diagnosed in November 2013. I know what you mean about the info. All SLE or DLE. Not much for us out there. I have bought lots of books and I learn a lot from this site. The support from this site and it's amazing members, is invaluable to me. Happy to try to help in any way. We have a booklet called, 'Lupus and the Skin' which you can download from lupusuk.org.uk/publications/ It includes some information about subacute cutaneous lupus. If you have any particular areas that you find most confusing, please let me know and I'll do my best to find you relevant information to make things clearer.

It sounds like it mean you feel miserable, but your organs are in good shape. Also, perhaps your blood markers are not very bad.
