Who could have guessed that angina , heart spasms, were curable. just been given full bill of health by cardiologist and no longer have these problems but still have to take the medication.

Can't work that one out.

Anyone any ideas. you don't have a problem but you still have to take the medication for it.

Like most conditions, what is meant by you no longer have the problem is in fact; you have been doing the correct things to get it under control and now no longer have any pain but you need to continue to take medication to help keep you 'healthy'!

Congratulations on getting it under control 😊

Hi there, been having chess on and off for 3-4 years now,had a heart attack in past, under cardo, had loads of tests, main artirities clear, but got some damage to heart muscle (small part died) was on meds, another cardio said didn't need them, "I said they help with pain and flare's) tried to say its in my mind, " said how is it every time I'm taken to a&e told having a heart attack ECG and bloods say. Strange that. Now on 3different meds for heart, got microvascular unstable angina, think they need to look at tests results properly, time slots and money I think.

this consultant looked at my Anigagramme from 2009 . this is the one that the original cardiologist diagnosed me with Heart spasm's , unstable angina on.

It just that He managed to miss that the Aorta in the heart was on the Right side instead of the Left.

But they say when you put the camera in the Heart that you can't tell if you are going left or right even thou you are watching it on a screen.

But they did another heart scan with the handheld scanner and the Heart was working ok again.

No still have the pain, shortness of breath, chest pain, numbness . Also Swelling of lower legs ( which is down to circulation, But that's not connected to the heart, " Cardiologist Words not mine" )

Right Aorta.

Basically same problems as 2008 and before but a new consultant.

Very pleased for you. I agree with Chris. I have heart problems also. Things like spasms and angina are not necessarily damage to your heart or an ongoing condition if you have done the right things, which it appears you have. The heart being a muscle with blood flow and electrical input can have difficulties but also improves. Your meds and good diet adequate exercise etc have improved your condition enough to consider it gone. Well.done

Missing the point i was making.

This diagnoses was made on the same pictures from the 2009 Anigagramme . Only other test was the scan they do ( same as when ur pregnant sorry memory not much good ) which has always been good .

So the 1st consultant saw heart spasm's while doing the Anigagramme but they have now got better on the film ( don't know about within myself)

I've got an appointment with the vascular team later this month for the swelling in the legs. Going to get this out of way as cardiologist says " circulations isn't connected to the Heart ( So I don't know what pumps my blood round ) . Because of having a Right Aorta , i looked up what problems it could cause me. So i could sort out what's fibro related and what's related to one of the many other things going off with me.

Now we Know American's can be in front of us in research , but also can go aver board in some cases.

But between their sites and Boots medical site the basic info I came up with for Right Aorta was :- the chest pain , swallow lower legs, swallow stomach , irregular blood pressure / pulse .

Which are all symptom's been presented to my GP and the Cardiologist over the time and was one of the question ask. But in this country we don't know about them.

All this Cardiologist put everything down to is Fribromyligia.

So a 2nd option wouldn't do much good .
