OK..so had hands. Wrists xrayed... No news yet..some bloods back..vitimin c or d on low side..lupus not back!! My. Gp is the best cryed when she fame back been that bad....any waz!!!! The neurosurgery gp..plus the gp who's inrge of fribo. M.e.chronic stuff...?said I've that thing were toes fngere goes blue.!! Really !land lips..my fingers are swollen .?hubby been told get her rings off...I've been waiting months for rumotoligist... Gp worried.. Got call before... Offering me tomorrow.? Please any one advice me going Newcastle.. The general.?? Thing is I've been too one before waste of time!! I've osteoarthritis of back.!! Had stuff wrong since my 20 s...red face..? Pain ..lately well been ill.? And few week after my of fingers blow up??my elbows kill...?what's xxx wrong with me??

Asked my gp!! She said truthful might not even find out ??has bloods some times take years..?but skin bones show now..?sue thinks maybe some kind of lupus... Has tick loads box's .?low white platelets. 12 year.?constant sore throat??. Spots over legs?.hair lose.arrrr.what s going to happen if this rumo is waste time?????

Please be aware that Fibro often turns out to be an untreated Thyroid condition, which a lot of the time does not show up due to the awful TSH test.... TUK is the best source of accurate and helpful information! MaryF

Hi Louise

Just give this new Rheumatologist a list of all your symptoms and any photos of rashes and I'm sure it will go well and he'll do further blood tests. Don't think about what's happened before, this is a new start for you. Good luckX

Hi.misty..thanks!!! Think we spoke loads before on pain page.? OK so got to see rumotoligist today see was fantastic!!!really. Went over Dr spikits letters.!! All my other stuff....saw the funny shied my skin goes..? When cold.stressed.. Went over my two miscrage s.my face looks a bit funny??told me she's very sure I've lupus... Got loads bloods took.?a steroid jab.....got more hand.wrist xdrays.chest xrays. With my fingers swollen... Pleased drove the 2 hour drive.......wow..she said I will get my own nurse number when needed her??

?couldn't believed it was all going once right after all crap well face it been fobbed off fee times.?gotbto go back for other tests.. Meds..?.my bums sore hope does comething.. I've got bad osteoarthritis yeah yeah do I knew??????soz for going on..xxxxt

Hi, Louise, I'm only going to second Mary and Misty's very sensible comments. Be brave! You're in the system now. Most important thing for you right now is to start writing down a list of all your symptoms (so you don't forget any when you're talking to the rheumatologist), and if you can take photographs of your rashes, they can be helpful too. Many people find keeping a simple diary helps, especially if your symptoms fluctuate (sometimes they're there and sometimes they're not). Good luck!

I belive it could b lupus i was diagnosed with it and the symptoms r very much alike. The swelling of fingers i have skin bruising on my hands and feet. The doctor say if im not mistaken its raynaulds syndrome were your hands n tips of fingers get cold really quick and painful. I didnt even know i had it until i seen my doctor records. Have you tried finding another doctor. I wish you the best of luck! P.s it took them 2 years to diagnose me..(purple)

Hi.Vonda.!and cheers for contacting me....my hands.feet being doing that since I was a teen.??I hate getting cold..I get cold easy. Need cosyed up...blanket hot water bottle...if I get my hands feet cold boy I knew it..my goodness me when feeling comes back..tingles. Spasam s... Never ever get ina hot bath with red !purple feet....arrrrr.... My last bloods apart from Vitim. White blood platelets low..normally norm????... Got a steroid jab...fingers crosst..are you on meds??

Rumotoligist said 99% sure its lupus....I've also osteoarthritis.. Defentley in back.few fingers can feel bone.limb on wrist....showed her pictures of my face when ill!!!!!!???

Confused...question ..?last summer felt I'll.... My skin seems too be brown????never had this..I am very fair.?I get like sharp pains in upper back.?like burning??? My fingers still swollen.?.? Have you have that steroid injection??????

Hi. So sorry you are in so much pain but as the others have already said, make sure you keep record of your symptoms I keep a little dairy sometimes I can actually write ' good today' not often but it sure feels good when I can. Keep smiling hope you feel better soon xx
