Hi.
Well I had these white needle type dots on my skin which was figured out to be the climate change when I move to America but now all of a sudden I am getting red itchy patches any ideas.
I Have had the same dots back in August went to Miami they have faded now.
I got something like that in Florida last spring--a red rash with white dots which didn't feel like a sunburn but felt irritated. I showed it to my GP who I don't think knows much about autoimmune disease. He said are you Irish? I said, yes, but I've been Irish for 62 years. I showed a photo to my rhumy, but she didn't say much about it, but noted it in the record. It wasn't the sun rash I used to get in my 20s.
I have this on my face, neck and ears. It's almost like tiny grains of sugar when I rub my skin. The skin people at the Lupus Unit prescribed Primecrolimus cream, once a day, and also long-term antibiotics. The itching/redness waxes and wanes, and if I forget to put on the cream it all flares the following day. No-one told me exactly what it was, but the antibiotics are for granulomatous rosacea, although they were not absolutely certain about this diagnosis. I am going back in February for review.
Well my ARms are goin red now
I'd go to the doctor right away - it may be a number of things but better safe than sorry.
