awaiting diagnosis

hi 9 months ago lumps started appearing on my leg, having just returned from a foreign holiday. my gp was useless and kept telling me they were insect bites, giving me antibiotics and then steroids. the lumps turned to ulcers after steroids and eventually my gp referred me to a dermatologist. blood tests tested positive for lhyme disease, which I was treated for however the lumps kept appearing on my other leg, even after blood tests for lhyme are now negative. im also seeing an infectious diseases consultant who wants to look at lupus. Thankfully I feel generally well, however am more prone to coughs/colds/flus etc than ever have been, and do have some numbness in arms, also joint pain/swelling. it seems to be extremely hard to diagnose as nobody has a good knowledge of it. it is frustrating

Hi, I had lumps that turned to ulcers on my feet a few years ago. I have had lupus for 18 years and it was a new thing for me. I don't get numbness but joint pain is probably one of the only thing lupus sufferers share.
