Could this be lupus? High blood pressure, kidney infections continual, stones, I feel dehydrated, multiple joint pain,sepsis,dizziness,

Fatigue unable to walk very far, I have to use mobility scooter, have had depression in the past so was dismissed by rhuematolagist as having fybromyagia, also hyper mobile joints.

Sorry to read of your horrible health problems. Fibromyalgia and Lupus seem to go together a lot as they produce similar symptoms, hard to tell them apart!. Has your Consultant done Lupus Blood Tests to rule it out and then given you the fibromyalgia diagnosis?. Are you getting help with kidney stones?. They are tough being so painful. Have you got pain relief help for Fibro?. I hope you improve soon.X

I am continually in hospital with kidney problems and hydronufrosis so the answer is yes and I can't fault my own GP. I have had a few problems with the rheumatologist, the one at the moment is very dismismive but I had a really good rheumatologist in the past who is now retired he said it was some sort of autamune problem but as nothing definite in bloods he said he wasn't sure what was wrong. My inflammation markers have been high in the past but they fluctuate. I think the pain makes me fee, so tired.

I am surprised that with all your definite kidney problems your illness can't be diagnosed more easily! It's tough losing a good Rheumy thru retirement. That is what has happened to me and my new one is so different, it takes some getting used to!. Have you thought about changing Rheumy's as yours is so dismissive?. He shouldn't be with your health history and he should be willing to keep a good eye on you as these illnesses can change quickly over time!. I hope you feel better soon.X

All I can say is that all you folks who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia or lupus amongst many other things and have not had iron overload (hemochromatosis) ruled out, I have to say that you check your medical records to see, and if not go back to your doctor and insist that it be done. There is not hard evidence that kidney stones go along with iron overload but my father had them and me too, and we both had or have hemochromatosis. There are hundreds of signs and symptoms that go along with hemochromatosis.- ibs, fibromyalgia and cfids are three of them: these along with hemochromatosis go together like feathers of a bird - they lap over. A lot of these auto immune diseases interlock I have just recently been diagnosed with primary sjogrens whenI know for a fact I have lupus symptoms too!!Half of these drs are just not efficient enough and the other have are so overworked they dont care!If you think you have then make sure you get a blood test when!!you are feeling ill thats when its active they can tell a lot by the blood tests.
